ECA with a temporary master's degree - Spain?

Hello everyone, i will finish my master degree in a couple of months, and i am preparing the IELTS to do it in a couple of months too.

The problem: in Spain, after you finish a degree, it takes around a year to receive the official certificate, by this time you receive a temporary one that has the same value than the final one, in Spain and Europe at least.

My question is, will be this document valid to send to WES to do the ECA? (Together with the sealed in an envelope official academic transcript). Cause if not i will wait to take the IELTS at least half more year. As i will have the ECA in around 1 year and 2 months... so if i take the IELTS now, in case i receive an ITA, it possibly got expired already.

Anyone can help? Thanks in advance!

I did not have to send my Masters certificate to WES. The university sent the transcripts directly to them and it was fine. On their website has the requirements based on country of education. Alternately, you can call them between specific hours.

Well i see for spanish degree's we have to send the master's certificate to WES, and the university send the transcripts in a sealed envelope.
I have tried to contact them but no luck until now.

They take calls between 10am and 2pm Toronto time I think (check their website to verify the hours). The space allotted to take calls is very short so try calling just as they open. I got through every time I tried.

Well for India, Provisional Certificates are valid too. We also get official Degree after one year here in India. So I hope provisional Certificate which you call temporary is very much Valid. you can send a letter along with Provisional certificate where University time frame is given.

Thanks, good to know! Yeah it is a provisional certificate, it is official until the moment you get the final one.
