Dear all

My brother (a medical doctor) wants to have his medical bachelors and masters degrees assessed with WES, he is wondering:

1. His transcript only shows his year of birth (standard way of issuing transcripts in his university) and not full date of birth. Now considering that WES ask for date of birth to be on candicates' transcript would they still assess it and show only year of broth on his report or they just wouldn't look at it? Any experience?

2. Does he need to include his certificate of 1-year internship for WES assessment? Or the degree certificate and transcripts should be enough for ECA purposes? If yes should it be included with transcript envelope or degree envelope?

Thanks

Note wes is not the recognised evaluation agency for medical doctor, there is specific body for MBBS .....please confirm the specific agency. Except the internship is part of the medical degree , as it is in India , I don't think Certificate is necessary

Thanks Castillo, very helpful

You're right, it's The Medical Council of Canada (MCC) as explained in the link below:
http://mcc.ca/repository/educational-credential-assessment/

He's already regsiterd and following the process (I guess I confused WES with The MCC).

But it says in this link the below:
Note – As designated by IRCC, the MCC can produce an ECA report for the primary medical degree (diploma) only. If candidates wish to have other degrees recognized for Canadian immigration purposes, they should visit the IRCC website for more information.

Where should he do his master's ECA?

Hi guys

Following on from the previous discussion, does that mean that a medical master's degree can be ECA assessed from WES?
