ECA Submitted - Please suggest if done correctly!

First of all, sincere thanks to entire forum community to answer my all sorts of absurd questions.

After combing the threads for almost a week and asking all sorts of questions to get the info correct, I have finally done all formalities of ECA from my end.

Step 1: Created account in WES - Submitted Fees - Got WES REF no.

Step 2: Went to PTU online website. Created query for transcript and submitted fee along with address to send the transcript. 300 for transcript + 200 for international delivery

Step 3: Got colored photostats of both my Provisional as well as Final degree. Put WES ref no on the xerox and sent it to WES Toronto documentation center.

Please suggest if I have done everything right for the ECA.
Also kindly advice how much time usually takes WES to verify the documents and how to proceed from here.

As I haven't had taken my IELTS yet, I am planning to prepare myself for it and take it next month.
i am targeting 8 bands as this will give boost to my application.
Any advise or suggestion will be very welcome and most generous.

Step 2 - added your REF number with the Transcript Query too?

WES can take from 3 weeks to FIVE in my case, AFTER they receive your Transcripts. They are uncooperative via email and God forbid you need to call them - expect a min 30 min wait time ...

Tip: block your IELTS date immediately - General Training slot - sometimes theres a rush and you may not get your preference. Also, I had my written test and my speaking test on separate days so do check thoroughly. Once blocked, it also gives you a sense of purpose to prepare.

Yes I have mentioned the WES REF number in the transcript address too.
I am not sure if my university will add it on my transcript but I have put WES REF No. on the address at least.

I will also take your advice and try to block a date for the General category ASAP and on some convenient date.
