Hi Guys,

My ECA report is as below:

ECA Summary: Bachelor's Degree 4 Years

Credential 1: Bachelor of Commerce
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree (3 years)

Credential 2: Master of Commerce
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree (4 years)

I have 2 questions

Q1: Now while entering the Educational Details, should I consider this is as 2 or more degrees with one being atleast 3 years OR simply a Bachelors Degree 4 years?

Q2: Some on the forum are saying the Summary part in the report simply states the highest degree you have attained so you can safely select 2 or more degrees while some are mentioning that I might need to ask WES to change my report summary to clearly mention 2 Bachelor Degrees or Dual Degrees.

Can someone clear the air about this issue?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards.

enter both your degrees and enter it as WES states it is. the system will calculate 2 or more degrees but not a masters as your MCom is equivalent to a Canadian bachelors. 2 bachelors dont make a masters degree.

The summary part says what's your equivalent qualification.
My spouse had a degree and a masters but her summary says bachelors degree and a PG diploma
I feel ur final qualification is mentioned bachelors, Sony can't claim two or more post secondary, it's better to confirm with WES once

IMO contact WES and ask them to update the summary line to below:

ECA Summary: Bachelor's Degree 3 Years and Bachelor's Degree 4 Years

Wes most of the time mentions only the highest degree and doesn't mention other credentials. This is not an issue as the credentials will be filled individually in the express entry profile and at the end crs awards you 119 (with spouse) or 128

However, the summary should include all the credentials that will score you points. For peace of mind, if anyone, doesn't have all their credentials in the credential summary, contact wes through your account and from the drop down menu choose "wes report result". Other options might delay your response or may not receive any.

I had the same situation and I contacted them and they did the changes with no charge. If you dont get it done asap, they will charge you for any changes.

Hope this help.
