Hello Everybody,

I have a master degree in software engineering from Saudi Arabia and I have a bachelor degree in computer engineering. My question is do I need to make an ECA for both my bachelor degree and master degree?

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon :)

Thanks,
Ajod

Assuming that your Masters degree will be considered as equivalent to a canadian masters degree, which depends on the results of your ECA report, then getting the ECA for the masters degree alone is enough.

You will only receive points for your highest degree anyway.

However, if your masters degree is mot counted as a masters degree in canada, it might be better to have both evaluated, since you would then probably qualify for two or more degrees instead of just bachelors, which is worth more points.

If you get your assessment done through WES, you can just do both as they charge the same, no matter how many degrees you have evaluated at the same time.

Hope that helps.

Better to get them both assessed . Gives you a better chance of scoring better points.

Dear Experts
I am pretty confused regarding ECA of academic credentials..in my case my wife will be principle applicant and she has chosen NOC 0112, she did bachlors (2 years) in 2008 and after she started career as HR professionals and in during the tenure in 2010 she completed her MA (economics 2 years private candidate) after that in 2011 she left with the job and started MBA in HR (3 years) and completed in 2013 and the year of completion onwards she has been doing a job as human resource manager..can any plz guide what degrees to be assessed for ECA...or if i select other then WES so is there any thing fishy? do i need to assessed all degrees like Bcom, MA and MBA??for each i ll be charged separately or they charge same for all??

Your suggestion in this regard will highly be appreciable...

Get all degrees assessed. You can choose any evaluating agency. It is charge per applicant and not based on number of degrees.
