Hi there,

I arrived here about 14 months ago on IEC and have been working here since as in BC as a licensed veterinarian. I have completed 1550 hrs of work over 1 year (with 2 diff) employers and was considering applying for EE under CExp Class.

As I am already licensed in state of British Columbia with the regulatory board (CVBC) and have a CQ (issued in 2015) from CVMA, do I still need an ECA before I start my profile?

Since it looks like you will soon qualify under the CEC class, it is not MANDATORY to get the ECA done. However, you will not get any points for your education unless you do.

You could "wait and see" if you need the points, or just do it.
