ECA evaluation as Masters for Canada

Hi All,

I have a Master of science in microbiology from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.

I have my ECA from WES Canada for my immigration and they gave me a "post graduate diploma - one year" equivalency.

I am looking to get my ECA for Canada immigration from IQAS or other authorised organisations, as I have heard that they evaluate the Master of Science in Microbiology from this university in India as a Master degree in Canada.

If so, I will be able to increase my CRS score by 7 points at least.

Is there anyone who has this experience in the past or what do you suggest?

I dont think it is even worth trying at this point of time. FSW draws have not resumed and IQAS takes several months to be evaluated.
