ECA Certificate for Job

I have have submitted my eAPR.

Main concern is I have not done ECA for my spouse. Would it be mandatory for Job in Canada?

I am not sure whether to get a WES certificate specially for Job. Do any companies ask for ECA Certificate?

ECA has nothing to do with job search and hence not mandatory.

Yes and no. It is true that Eva is only requested by immigration for points. But it is also true to an that companies my have their internal requirement. And a very common requirement is proof of high school diploma or e uivalent. Yes it is us to them if they would accept foreign diploma as is. But many of them just wants to see them the assessment and comparison to Canadian diploma. So at the end it could make her life more difficult.
