Hi Guys!

WES has provided result stating my Bachelors (Hons)(3 yrs)+ Masters(2 years) equivalent to Canadian Bachelors of 4 years. My both the degrees are full time and recognized by WES. Yet I have received this result. Is there any chance they will reconsider it. Shall I try any other education evaluation agency for this purpose? I'm loosing many points here due to this evaluation :(

Please help!

Don't think they will reconsider it, try IQAS I guess (longer processing times compared to WES). Many points? You lose 7 points - you'll get points for two or more certificates.

Thanks for your help but I think I'll be losing 14 points by getting Masters recognized as Bachelors

I have done some surfing on IQAS web and found a country specific guide. According to the guide my degrees will be evaluated as below, which makes sense unlike WES

'A Master’s degree (following the completion of a three-year Bachelor’s degree) generally compares to the completion of a one-year Master’s degree with a focus in xxx.

Note: The first-year study of a two-year Master’s degree (following the completion of a three- year Bachelor’s degree) is considered to be at an undergraduate level. '

So, you have BA Hons (3 Years) and MA (2 Years), Technically you should get one Bachelors degree and one Post Graduate Diploma.

Can you post your WES report here?
