Hey, we got a strange message this morning. Our e-CASE decreased in lines.
Our history with e-CASE was
10/10 We sent you a letter on September 27 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. (This was the sponsorship approval)
1/25 Medicals results have been received.
Today It looks like there may have been a change to your e-CAS. However, it is
not not entirely clear. The number of lines of information showing seems to
have decreased, and that doesn't usually happen!

Possibly CIC has made a correction to your file, rather than an actual update. We're not sure, and you should check e-CAS yourself.

Previously there were 2 lines of information showing. Now there are 1 lines of information showing.

The most recent line in your e-CAS says:

"We received Enrique Javier Barrios Ukles's application for permanent residence on October 4, 2010."

Does anyone know why this happened? I was so excited when they received medicals since our office takes such a long time.

alot of people are having that problem. system maybe getting updated. wait till the next ecas update

javiernica, it is advisable not to use your real name in your post. you should edit your post accordingly to protect your identity.

To me, it sounds like the "decision made" you got previously referred to the sponsorship part. And then the second one lets you know the file arrived to the Embassy in Guatemala. I guess?

Loads of us had this line removed! I also panicked and posted the same query. Apparently it's a glitch or something and we shouldn't worry about it as long as our application is still "in process". Someone else actually called the CIC office and obtained this information. Still though, it stressed me out in thinking that there was something wrong with my husband's medical results!
