I see some people are able to access ECAS prior to the AOR and SA ....my question is ...how?

The sponsor may well be able to if they have a UCI from previous dealings with CIC. The principal applicant however requires the "file number" which is only available after AOR or SA.

My husband was able to access ecas prior to our aor as he had dealt with cic to get his work permits. However we were only able to look at his side of everything until I received aor and my client number as the sponsor. In the beginning the only side that gets updated is the sponsor's.
