During the application process health card will be valid or No?

hi friends,
we r living in Regina,SK.my wife is pregnant. status in work permit.. permit and health card will expire on Aug 16th.. my wife due date on Aug 21..we applied our extension of work permit to cic online application,It is on process(processing time 22 days,I applied on Aug 5th).In between Application processing time,We will eligible or covered my heath card? please friends can u help me soon?..

I suggest you to call the the Health Services Office (or whatever the name is) of Saskatchewan and explain your situation to them, and hopefully, they will be able to clarify things for you.
