Hello everyone,
My sister is planning to apply for a diploma program at a college that is full-time, consists of 61 university-transferrable credits, within 3 semesters. The total length of the program is one year, however, the course load is for two years, and I believe a diploma in Canada (specifically in BC) is considered a two year degree.
If she were to finished this program, would she be eligible for a PGWP for a year (i.e. the duration of the program) or two years (the length of the program in terms of credits attained) ?
I would really love to hear from people who have gotten PGWPs in similar situations to know if she would be better off doing a program that's broken down into two years instead.
