Duration of passport return?

Guys i got accepted yesterday. They want the passport by 30 November. The problem is I have an appointment in US embassy on 11 December which I can't postpone. Little confused here on what to do.

How long do they take to return passport? And is there a way to ensure I get it quick?

Can"t you postpone your US visa appointment? If not, I think it's best to submit your passport for Canada right away anyways, I think you should get it back by then. That's more than one month from now.

I can't postpone it since it is employment based and have time limit...... I just want confirmation that I can get it before 11 Dec that's all.

If you submit today, you will get that within 2 weeks.
