Yes No issues ........if you are Pakistani ........many our National Assembly Members are Dual National they are not worrying why you are???????

Haha...but I think most of them have UK citizenship with whom we have a dual nationality agreement, isn't it !!

Yes you can have dual nationality while maintaining a Canadian Passport. However it is strictly not advisable

“If you are in trouble and need assistance in the country of your other citizenship, the local officials in that country may not welcome “outside interference” and deny your right to consular assistance from Canada”

Pros and cons I guess.

Most people would generally agree that having 2 passports has more pros than cons.

For example, after I have completed my 1095 days as a Canadian resident I certainly intend to apply for citizenship. But I will also keep my British Passport and be a dual citizen. Why?

Pros:
- With a British Passport, should my future circumstances change unexpectedly, I can work not only in the UK but anywhere in Europe without needing a visa
- With a British Passport I can enter more countries than any other passport in the world without needing a visitor visa (I believe it's around 66 countries).

Cons:
- I lose the right for the UK to intervene on my behalf should the UK ever go to war with Canada. I think I can cope ;p
