Hello all!

I am a holder of two passports: Russian and Ukrainian. When it comes to the police certificates, which normally indicate all the details including the citizenship, how should I act? Should I request those twice, as Russian and Ukrainian citizen separately?

If anyone had the same issue, please advice.

Yes, you would need them both separately. Check this link for the procedure http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp#U

Just to clarify, at first I apply for a certificate from Russia as a Russian citizen and then I do the same but as a Ukrainian citizen?

Did anybody do it?

Is dual citizenship legal in both countries?

If not, I would recommend applying as a citizen of which ever country you mentioned as a citizenship to CIC.

How would you explain your nationality being diff in the two certificates to CIC, if in fact you are not supposed to have two citizenships..

If it is legal, you should apply as a citizen of each of the countries.

No, you don't need to apply for each PCC twice with your different nationalities. It doesn't matter what nationality is listed on the PCCs.
