Driving license name not similar to the name in passport

I have my driving license in India since 4 years
But my name is misspelled in the driving license
Which is not similar to the name in passport
In Telangana, the RTO people are not ready to change the name.
I wanted to know whether this would create a problem while I obtain my driving license in Canada
