Driving in Canada from international license while waiting for work permit/PR

Can you advice me here please

I have been in Canada over a year and My last visitor permit expired on February. I got it only for one month from January. I have applied for PR and work permit a moth ago. I was wondering that am I allowed to drive in BC/Canada with my foreign driving license while I am waiting for the Work Permit

If you can get Car insurance with that License which I highly doubt then you be ok .
Call an insurance company and see if they will take your Foreign DL , Usually it's only good for the 1st 3 months of our arrival .
