hello.
I had my driver licence(also have a car) when i have work permit.
My work permit expired and i went back home and re-entered canada with visitor visa after 10 months.
I went to autopac in Manitoba and they copied everything including my passport and visa stamp for driver licence renewal.
At the end, autopac does not recognize my visitor status so i could not renew my driver licence and i transferred ownership of vechicle to my husband.
i have my address forward to my sister's and she said 3 ppl came to her door this afternoon (two uniforms-man and woman and one guy with regular outfit) and look for me regarding to my driver licence renewal.
my sister told them i left country already then they check out her identification and left.
- they knew my full name and i was with visitor visa.
I called autopac, police and immigration to ask if this is really happening or fraud.
All three department said, they would never come to door for driver licence.
immgration said licence renewal is provincial matter and they would send a letter first anyway regarding to any immigration matter.
is there someone actually experience this or is this fraud?
