Happy new year to all!

Any predictions about the first draw of 2018? What are the chances of 432 in 2018 - Should I wait for ITA or go with PNPs?

Please advise. Thanks in advance

432 is slightly low, however an ITA is plausible before half-2018. Let’s see how the next couple of draws pan out. Going for PNP makes an ITA a sure shot, and it’s upto you.

When you say go for PNP, could you please outline what one has to do? I created my EE profile and submitted. Is there a process to specifically apply for PNPs explicitly? If so, would you be so kind as to detail it? Thanks a lot.

Thanks. Is any PNP open now? I see some posts where it is mentioned that PNPs will open only after government allocates the quota which would likely be done in February. Is it so? Kindly advise
Thanks in advance

Different provinces have varying requirements on PNP- Ontario, for instance, sends through EOI to applicants above 400 in the pool. It's then the onus of the applicant to send through the rest of the documents as outlined in the process.

For more information on other provinces, may I please suggest visiting this thread:

Please go through the aforesaid link and keep yourself updated. Thanks.

Thanks Jarkev. My EE currently reads that I'm eligible for minimum criteria but not eligible for PNP! :(

Hi,

Is it correct that Ontario selects only those who have ICT noc codes with 400 CRS and above? What about other noc codes; for example, mechanical or civil engineers?

Thanks

They've selected ICT NOC Codes with those lesser than 400- a few of them on this forum. Others, regardless of occupation, were sent EOIs.
