Not necessarily. All DS cases do not get negated. It'd depend on the Specialists Opinion on his/her reMeds. There's one member here - user ID "Mirza", he also has a similar situation... Got his approval... Touch-base with him, asap.

Your in-box is full. Try contact or emailing your visa office for a definite answer.

They will ask for medical reports on your childs development to try to figure out if he or she will cause excessive stress on Canadian health care or social system. I have been PM-ing with a man who is in a similar situation and his application has been delayed because of the extra examinations but he has not yet received an answer either way.

If your child is physically healthy, it is better news than say if your child will need heart surgery etc. in the future.

I am father of 22 months Down Syndrome boy. One week back, embassy asked us to let my son go through 4th time furtherance (Actual 6th time Medicals).

Special Children cases for immigration takes usually a longer time except one lucky person ''Mirza987''.

Regards

Hi Good Day!

I am speaking in behalf of my father who has a question similar to this. my brother is mentally retarded but i good health condition. can speak and walk... comprehend things but the problem, our native tongue is visayan (Philippine dialect) and he knows very little in English language.. would this be a hindrance in visa issuance?

Under the family support program (MPNP).
we have been given the application number and waiting for the letter for medical examination; we would like to be prepared before we get the actual medical examination ordered by the Canadian Embassy as a requirement

p.s. hernia (a condition in which the intestine went down to the inguinal canal), can this be a hindrance too? My father does have one, and he is also worried about it... he is in good physical condition, and the hernia is not interfering with his activities for now.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Hoping for your positive and willful responses.. :)
