doubt in applying for caips/gcms notes

Hi
I want to order CAIPS notes through a friend in Canada. I have a doubt. I filled the two forms. One for my friend and the authority form from my side. My doubt is do I need to send the hard copy of the authority form to my friend or can I sign it, scan it and email it. Secondly, I also have a similar query for the second form .... what about my friend ?? does she need to send the hard copy of the caips order form or she can also sign it, scan it and email it.

Hi dingar,

I don't know the official answer (sorry), but since it is urgent for you I thought I'd share my opinion that if they are scanned in for the application then perhaps you can send an electronic as you suggest, and then arrange a matching original via the postal service thereafter (in case it should prove necessary later) ?
