Doubt at last stage... recent Indian seniors.. pls reply

I have my document pack ready to be sent to Sydney, NS in my hands and a devil's advocate has put doubt in my mind w.r.t. the link

Processing time in New Delhi is mentioned as 30% cases within 64 months. What I understood from this forum was that these the process is much faster and completes within 12-15 months

If my assumption was not correct, pls let me know. I will hold back at this point itself. All I'll lose right now is the currency conversion charges.

The processing time on the CIC website is for applications in the old system send in before February 27, 2008. The new system is supposed to be much faster. They are aiming at 6-12 months but because they have only been working by those rules since November 28, 2008, there isn't really enough experience yet to see how close they will get to that. 12 to 15 months sounds likely.
