Double Payment of Biometric Fees - Spousal + Visit Visa ( pre-AOR )

Hi,

I have sent in my Spousal Outland PR application, having paid all the fees as they had requested ( CAD 1135 ). Given the extended AOR1 timelines, I decided to apply for her visit visa. Since she does not have any prior UCI the visit visa application is requiring me to pay the CAD 85 Biometrics fees again. Is there any way in which I can avoid paying this double fees?

The temporary visit and pr application are seperate sets of biometrics so unfortunately you will have to pay both. I may be mistaken though.
