I don't think so man! The three tests are mandatory! If I were you I would call the doctor again and ask for this!
This is weird! So they're going to come up with a urine test results themselves?

Follow up on it.

Hi
Same thing happened to me also. Did you did mediclas in saskatoon near confederation drive. I did medicals der 1 month ago. They didnt do urine test. They said ur healthy. They said they have uploaded and i can see that medicals have been received in ECAS.Checked with some of the people in the forum they said that you shouldnot be worried once your ecas shows medicals have been received. Hope this helps you.

As far as I know Urine test in Mandatory. They just cant skip it telling you are healthy. Below is some details of Urinalysis:

Urinalyses: Dipstick test to check presence of following. The thresholds are +1 for any of these. In case of breach of threshold, Microscopic analysis will be conducted with following thresholds
Blood: Threshold – RBC above 10 RBC/HPF
Protein: Threshold – greater than 0.30 mg/L
Glucose: Threshold: Presence

Blood and protein can be present in healthy person based on activities/food over last 24 hrs. So, to avoid repeat test DO NOT have high protein diet, exercise, s3xual activity (48 hrs), Alcohol (5-7 days), Soft drinks, Caffeinated drinks (Tea, Coffee - also for B.P), raw tomatoes, raw leafy vegetables, or dieting (i.e. very less food). Drink at least 3 - 4 liters of water in 4 hours before the test. Otherwise, you risk incurring the expenses of Microscopic test.

If threshold of microscopic test are also breached then Serum Creatinine will be conducted. The results of this tests will be submitted and analysed by doctors in Canadian medical center, who may accept, rejected, or advise further tests for the candidate.

Please talk to CIC and discuss this issue with them, as I don't think he is uploading genuine Urinalysis.

P.S. How would they know that you are healthy without even looking at you urine samples ? They just cant tell you by your physic that you are healthy or not. :)

My ecas shows that medicals have been received. Does it mean cic accepted my medicals or not.

You have nothing to worry about. When ECAS say "Medical has been received" means you medical is all clear and you are good to go.

Then my doctor also didnt do urine test. When i asked her she said you are healthy and no need to do urine test. My ecas shows medcials have been receieved. So should i not be worried about this or not.

It abnormal to me as I have never heard of such thing & I am also not sure if Doctor can skip Urine test saying "You are Healthy", but I would say confirm it with CIC though. In your case you have nothing to worry about.

I don't know - if I were you, I would check with CIC about this. Or else you'd have to do another MR which will delay your application even more!

If some doctors "think" that you are just "healthy" and you don't need a urine test, that is just BS to me!

Because of my urine test result in the beginning I had to do the medicals three times! Frustration aside, the time I lost and the money I spent on the tests were annoying! At the end it turned out I was clear as crystal. I am not saying this just to let you know that I went through a rough time! I am stating this because this is how important the urine test is to CIC. This is no joke, they can't just ignore it by saying you are "healthy"!

The three tests are absolutely mandatory, unless the examining doctor comes up with his/her own urine test result!

UNLESS, only in one scenario this will make a little sense! And that is if you have gone under medical examination to obtain your visa before you got to Canada within the past year, and they already have your "healthy" file on the system! The medical results are valid for a year I suppose!

Anyway, I will be following this threat till someone comes out with a solid explanation!
