Doing my masters in USA- Visa on F1 status. Visit visa for canda

Hi All,

I'm doing my masters in USA, on F1 visa. I stay in Missouri. Want to vist canada in this last week of october(30,31).

1)will it be late to get a visa if i apply now(today)?
2)Do i have to book the tickets in advance? if yes, what if my visa gets rejected?
3)I want to apply online. In the required documents list its mentioned to upload that, 'Passport or travel document is required'. Do i have to upload a scanned copy of my passport?
4)How much of money is needed in the financial statement?
