Doing a part-time course while on a full-time course

Is it possible to a part-time course (approx 6 months) side by side with the full-time 2 year diploma, while remaining on the full-time study permit?

As I am not changing schools to do this course and just be doing my part-time course on the side in the summer break and on weekends.
Does telling the immigration about change of schools, apply to this case?

Is this a program that is less than 6 months? Very important.

Yeah. It is less than 6 months on paper. But what happens if it runs over to like 7 or 8 months combined over 2 years.

Looks like you want to go to flight school. Really depends on what kind of institution. If this is something people pursue on the weekend as a hobby? If so yes you can attend while working during PGWP.

Well, I want get my flight instructor license (CFI). I wanna avoid doing it during my PGWP. So my only choice to to do it side-by-side with my 2 year diploma. All the schools tell me that it can be done in 6 months. But if it runs over.... They say I might need to get another study permit. Some even say "don't worry about it" as your already on a 2-year diploma study permit and it's not a big deal if you go over 6 month and you don't have a additional study permit for the flight school. And flight schools I'm looking at are in Toronto and they are under DLI.

The flight instructors are not risking there immigration status. Your primary obligation is to your current program and attending school and doing all the studying and work required to graduate. Assume you aren’t working part-time as well since there wouldn’t be enough time to work, study and learn how to fly. The program needs to be under 6 months and you need to do well in your current course. It is up to you to see whether it is possible. Not sure why you can’t learn during PGWP where you’ll likely have evenings and weekends free.

I won't be working during the 2 year diploma, for sure. I don't want to do my CFI during PGWP because as plan to work as a CFI during the 3 years.

Why do you not transfer to a full-time flight school? I have seen others apply and be accepted so there must be some that qualify for PGWP. I just don’t see how you will have the time to complete your studies and do well while trying to complete your flight training in under 6 months and pass all those qualifications. If there is outdoor training/flight component you also have to factor in Canadian weather.

I already have my commercial pilot licence from the states (FAA) and will just converting them to the canadian version (2 week job). So, I already have prerequisites to start a CFI course.
If just do a 6 month CFI course from a DLI flight school, I won't get a PGWP. So I need to do a 2 year diploma to get a/on the PGWP. I know I have the ability to complete the CFI course within 6 month over the 2 years. I just need to know what the study permit situation is like.

There is no issue here, just do the study as long as you remain full time at your primary school you can take whatever other courses you want. And study permits are not school specific so you wouldnt need to get a new one anyway.

Sounds good, is there any limitations to the length of the second course that I take?
