Canadavisa is a forum under an immigration law firm.

If you want the real correct legal answers, straight from the source, go to cic.gc.ca or cbsa.gc.ca

Anything else will just be someone's interpretation.

does we have to make the list of goods which we carry in our luggage?
there is something called FORM B4 for that ! :-\

There is no Such Requirement.

However there are some goods to be declared like " Money more than 9000$ "

Some other things are also don't know much abt that but they will give you things to Declare list in Plane before you land at Canadian Airport.

Okay Thank you. :D

you will be given a immigration form on plane before landing. make sure you declare everything you carry in your luggage. If you are carrying food it must be declared as it can result in fine up to 800 Canadian dollars

Oh so you mean they give us a form in the flight in which we have to declare everything which is in the check in luggage.?

You might want to tell the to the customs officer who looked after me when I landed. Goods accompanying and goods to follow needed to be declared.

Again, you might want to tell that to the customs who handled my entry.

You may also want to check this page:

So what exactly did the customs officer want from you?

A list of what I had with me and the value.

You don't need to itemize the list. But

1 suitcase clothes value $CAD
1 laptop serial number $CAD
1 camera serial number $CAD
and so on. If there is anything being shipped after you have landed you need to provide a list of that AT LANDING! not when the goods arrive.

The actual form, they have. The list you provide and can be handwritten. I wrote mine on the plane over.

However, I landed mid august. Things may have changed since then so GO TO THE CBSA WEBSITE and check what it says. Don't take my word for that you need the list. Don't take anyone else's word for that you don't need the list. CBSA has the correct and current information and THAT is the one to follow.
