Hello,

A relative of mine wishes to apply under skilled worker / professional immigration. She has had her visit visa application denied back in July '07 wherein she skipped a few employment details. So, she's concerned if now when she provides them with all the employment details to qualify for the skilled worker class, her visit visa application is going to come in way and cause problems. Is her concern reasonable? Does the visa officer usually verify visit visa or other applications while processing skilled worker application?

Thanks for your help!

Well they will definitely come to know about the application. Always be honest and now this time when you apply, it will not have adverse affect on the process of PR but they might ask for some clarification about it as earlier you didn't mention it and now they might doubt it so for that they might ask for explanation which if your provide then should be fine

visit visa denial has no consequence on our pr application. the pr application is checked on its own merits.
