Does travel history counts?

My question is that does travel history really counts to other countries or it may weaken your case that you are already travelling too much apart from your country and weak ties to Pakistan etc etc?
 
Yes, it counts and is a positive. If you have travelled to many other "first world countries" and did not overstay and returned to pakistan.. then VO is more likely to believe that you will also return from Canada.

It can only weaken your tries to Pakistan if you have lived most of your adult life somewhere else, have no status there anymore, and just recently moved to Pakistan with no established roots here..

Overall, it is a big positive. Especially if you have a current visit visa to the U.S or UK.

I also have quite extensive travel history and am confused if it is a plus or a minus. Lets see if you can get some more educated responses.

I guess you are one of the few Pakistanis aiming for Rotman. Aiming for either Rotman or Schulich (or Haskayne / Sauder as Plan B) Gosh its expensive but the RBC loan thingy does make it a little bit better.
I have been picking up bits and pieces from pagal guy forum but linking up to a Pakistani would be great. I don't have 10 posts yet so I can't PM you, if you do see this message can you please drop me a PM with your email or contact details. Of-course only if you are comfortable with it.

Best of Luck for your MBA, Rotman is the number 1 school in Canadian MBA specially if you are majoring in finance.
