Does the time your spouse is living with you when working abroad outside Canada?

I was wondering if anyone knows if the time my wife is living with me while I work abroad in China counts towards her time as a PR towards a Canadian citizenship? OR is the time she is abroad with me suspended and does not count as PR time? I'm currently employed by a China employer for work. I couldn't find any information on this on the CIC website and I couldn't find a contact email to ask them. If anyone has a contact email, can you provide it to me please as the help centre just directs me around to various hot topic answers.

No. It doesn't count towards citizenship. As you are a Canadian citizen, it does count towards the residency obligation requirements for PR status.
