Does salary matter when applying through EE?

Hi,

I will be applying through CEC with a NOC code 1221. The average salary for this NOC is $23.30 per hour, however, mine is $20.76. Can my application be denied if I am approximately $3 per hour below average wage?

I worked at an entry level job in BC in 2018. By January 2019 i was promoted to the supervisor position and getting an hourly pay of $15. At that time in 2019 the minimum wage was 12.65 in BC. Then it increased to 13.85 in june 2019 and now it has increased to $14.60 as of june 2020. Can my application be rejected as the officer might think the salary is low?
