Hello,

I went to Canada in 2004 with a common law and a daughter. My partner got pregnant and we have a canadian daughter. We Split for a while and she got married to a canadian guy and apply for a refugee i think back in mid 2006. They divorced and in 2010 we all came back to our country. We got back together again and i whant to go back to canada. I graduated in Toronto and i would like to apply for a permanente residente, but i don't have any information o the refugee claim of my wife. While she was there, she didn't received any letter o communication from CIC. We just left before anything.
Question: does that refugee claim expire? does the CIC still have the information on that? How can I get the information?

Thanks for any direction.

Once you leave Canada your refugee claim is dead.
