Does PR for US Citizens take any less time than other countries?

I'm a US citizen, my wife is an Indian citizen. Points wise we'd be slightly better off with her being the primary applicant. Would the processing time be any less if we applied with me as the primary given my citizenship?

Let the person with the higher points apply as the PA. Short Processing time is mostly luck. Plan for an average of 6-7 months.
