Hello everyone, I have two major questions here as a graduate with PGWP.

1) I'm very worried about whether or not my employers need LMO to hire me even with PGWP.
Last time I checked, PGWP doesn't necessarily require LMO unless it has been expired, please correct me if I'm wrong.

2) When my PGWP expires, and if I'm still queued in the process of PR, what happens?
For instance, does Canadian government allow me to be a visitor until the result of my PR application comes out?

Thank you for your time, and your help will be much appreciated!

I was on a PGWP as well, expired and renewed a work permit.

As long as you have the PGWP, it is a open work permit, you can work for anyone without restriction. LMO is only something you need to apply a work permit, since you have your work permit, you don't need it.

However, once your PGWP expires, if you have already qualified for PR application through PNP or CEC, once your application was sent to case processing center, they will send you back a letter saying you are illegible for PR application, and you can use that letter to apply for a open work permit, you don't need LMo to apply that Bridge open work permit.
