Hi,

My fiancee has a valid visitor's visa to Canada. If we get married in Canada, she leaves Canada, and we apply for outland spousal sponsorship, does she need to re-apply for visitor's visa, because now there is a PR application in process?

Thanks in advance

IF she is from a country that requires visitors visas (i.e. is NOT visa-exempt) AND she wants to come back to Canada after the outland sponsorship has been submitted, then yes, she will need a visitor's visa to do so - UNTIL the spousal sponsorship is approved and she has her CoPR.

If she still has a valid visa she can reenter Canada on that Visa. If her visa has expired then she needs to reapply.

No need for a new visa if her Visa she currently has was a multiple entry visa that is still valid

Hi

Her TRV remains valid until it expires. Applying for PR doesn't affect it.
