Does MP call helps to faster processing ?

Hi my application is taking delay
If I arrange MP to call CIC to know currents status of my application
Will it make faster my processing
Will they tell actual status of my application
Does it have any harmful site about my application if called by MP

Need advise guys pls

No - MPs cannot speed up the processing of an application. All they can do is request current status. If your application is within normal processing times your MP may refuse to make any inquiries.

MP won't look into your case until you have passed the posted processing time (currently 14 months).

So if you inquire now, it won't hurt your case, but you could annoy the MP's office, and they won't do anything anyway. Best to keep waiting, if you can : )

Hi,

why would a MP make an inquiry about your application if it is still within cic frame time for the category you applied under,it seems that you want a special treatment from cic..it is not logic,wait for your turn like others unless you have some sort of emergency or something like that.
