as topic, just wondering if i fail the med check does it still show us "med rec received"?
btw,I did my med check after i got the SA,im very regret since it slow down the process so much
also ,im asking my hubby to pay the PR fee today ,hope it helps boost up a lil bit for the process

Having a medical received status does not imply that you passed the medical test. It just means that they received your medical results and are reviewing it. You won't know if you passed or failed the medical. If in the event that you failed the medical test it is usually due to having active TB at time of medical check.

The next step now is to wait for a decision made on your file.

You probably won't get the "medical results received" status until you pass the first stage. My wife's "medical results received" was updated after she passed the 1st stage (AIP stage).

im now a bit confused now,What is a AIP?what is the timeline for the full process?
i only got the CMCP letter, they asked me to go for the med check n saying the sponsorship is approved,I also got another UCI number saying my file is transferred to my country's VO.

Your case is different since you applied outland. We applied "inland" so AIP means approved in principle which applied for those who applied inland.

Thankyou user828 :D How long does it take to get the PR visa after e-cas says Meds have been received? Any idea?

You most likely will get updated soon, although I'm with the Ottawa office I sent in my medical on Apr 1st (I assume they got it the 2nd) and my ECAS was updated last week.

User Avadava did her/his medical on Oct 15, the panel phys sent the results to CIC, she/he heard back from CIC with a schedule for more testing during the processing of the application. She/he heard from CIC before an application was even sent in. Due to e-medical.

really! Makes me excited then . I've been a bit worried abt that. My Medicals was recieved 7 data after SA . We did it about 2 or more month before filing the application so am guessing we passed. We wait to see if we did after requesting a note in june:)
