Does maternity affects the eligibility to sponson parents?

I am on mat leave this year and would like to sponson psrents next year. Am i eligible to sponson my parents in jan 2017? We meet the income requirements as my husbands income would alone be also enuf but we will have to add me as its my parents?

If it's your parents, you must be the sponsor. Your husband can be a co-signer. As long as your joint income meets the requirements, you should be OK.

as long as you and your husband combined, meet the income requirement in 2013, 2014, and 2015, then you can.
