Does LMIA for Permanent Residency doesn't have an expiry date.

I am a foreign worker, trying to apply LMIA from my EMPLOYER. The lawyer told me that LMIA for PR doesn't have an EXPIRY DATE. But I think the LMIA is valid for only 6 MONTHS.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW, IS IT TRUE OR NOT.

LMIA is valid for 6 months in most cases. You should apply for closed Work Permit or PR within 6 months (This was the case with my friend)
