Hi Everyone,

i have this friend who needs help and i am not sure what should i do for him..he has been in canada since 2005 as full time student on study permit...he will graduate with B.A honor(Math/Economics) and just one month ago he got a job in CIBC bank as part time....what category he should apply to get PR.........he wants to get his PR status ASAP!?

Assuming your friend is working as a bank teller (type of job is important), the work experience will not help him qualify -he will need at least 1 year of experience in a "skilled occupation" (NOC O,A,orB) to qualify through either the Skilled Worker or CEC class.

The best thing you can do for your friend is advise him to read all the info on the CIC website regarding immigration, and then plan accordingly.
