Hi, I have my masters in journalism from India. I want to study film making in Canada, will my masters affect my chance for a Canadian work permit?

No - it won't affect your chances for a work permit.

So this is confusing in 2015 you posted that you had an EE ITA what happened to that and then in mid 2016 you were talking about sponsoring your wife sort of implying you followed through with PR in 2015. Now your question sort of implies you dont have PR and are looking at a work permit.

Hi, so.. yes I have my PR, and I am sorry for the confusion .
I was just asking this "masters question" on behalf of my younger brother who is planning to study in Canada. I heard through grapevine that if you have your masters and take a course in Canada, there is a good chance that, the application for work visa could be rejected.

Your question is confusing. You can't study on a work permit. Are you asking about a study permit?
