Hi,

we were wondering if going to court for random unrelated reasons could cause problem to our immigration case. (Our package is currently at the CIC, waiting to be opened in about a month)
As mentioned, it's a bit random but, my spouse was pressured to sign a contract to sell her car, and as we thought it looked strange, we have been consulting a lawyer to try to cancel it (as the seller doesn't want to) and we're worried that if it goes to court, it would affect our immigration application.

We're unsure about moving on, but hopefully we're worrying for nothing ?

thanks!

Its not going to affect your application. Good luck with the case.

NO, those random events wont affect your application,
but just try to solve them in the way that wont lead to further problems....
If she has to sell, then be it....
She should not sign if she did not want to sell.....
Signing is legal binding..... a signature should not be taken lightly....
just as when you bid on an auction...
you are obligated to buy if nobody bid higher than you.... its a legal contract....

good luck
