Does completion of 12 months work experience enough....???

Hi Guys,

I need some valuable advice from you folks !! I have got my job as a Test engineer on a contract basis from 7 Sept 2013 and my last working day in my company was 7 Oct 2014. I have completed 13 Months with an average of 40 hrs per week. I am currently looking for another job. My question is can i go ahead and apply for PR under CEC. Does the current status of unemployment effect my application. Has anybody been in a similar situation please advice.
