Does CIC send you email when they send out CoPR by mail after PPR?

Hi everyone,

I got my PPR and sent out my copy of passport to Ottawa. My status changed to approved but I wasn't sure this means that they opened my mail and sent out CoPR as there were no emails about sending out CoPR yet.
Do people usually get an email saying that they have sent out the CoPR?
