Hi Everyone,

I submitted a Spousal Application just recently, which CIC recieved, Date Stamped JAN 15TH 2016. I informed them
in a Note [with the Application] that upon submitting the application, i was going to be Living with my Wife down in Cuba for
2.5 months: [for most of the duration of the time it takes to process my, the Sponsor, Part of the Application].

I was informed by a Friend who resides at my same Postal Address, that a Envelope has arrived for me, from CIC, and because
he is unable to recieve it and thus open it, i am not entirely sure what it contains. I have read extensively on this site,
that if an Applicaton is incomplete, CIC sends back the ENTIRE application. Is this still correct??...or have they ever
sent anyone ONLY the Forms that were incomplete...and that need correcting?

My Question: As my entire application was in a Large Box, weighing 4.5 kilos...and this envelope recieved is estimated at JUST
either 1 lB or 1 KG [not too sure- as in photo of envelope, weight is inconclusive], i am wondering, could this
contain just Documents from MY Part of the Application, that they have finished using?? This is because some of my documents submitted
are of a Private nature: Bank Account and Can Rev Agency Tax information, a Certified Copy of my Personal Will, amongst others.
When CIC is close to finishing the processing of the 1st Part of the application, has it ever mailed back to anyone, his/her documents that
they no longer require?

Upon submisssion of an incorrect Application, is CIC OBLIGATED to email you of this? or do they just simply mail you back your application?
As i have recieved NO Email notification from CIC whatsoever, that my Application is incorrect, or as to the reason for this
Envelope, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If CIC returns an entire application, there will be no emails. It just simply arrives without warning.

It sounds like that may have happened, because they do not return documents after they are finished with them.

Whatever it is, it's probably time sensitive! Is it possible that your friend can forward it to you in Cuba?

A 10 pound application? Wow! :o

CIC has been known to go through applications, find something incomplete and then send them back with missing bits. But, that is a pretty severe weight difference. Is it possible you sent originals of some sensitive documents?

Why can't your friend get the package? For almost all mail, as long as you live at the same address as someone, you can pick up their packages.
