Hi there,

I just have a question. I am applying for permanent residency under the love on caregiver and sponsoring my kids. I am a single mom and already got the custody. My kids had their first medical last year and they are passed it, but has expired already so the immigration requested another one so they went for medical but one of my kid which is 10 year old have been referred to a psychologist because they said that he has a low IQ coz he failed to spell one word and failed to answer multiplication. I dont think that my child has a low IQ maybe he was just nervous or just a typical kid that all they want to do is play and dont wanna study. Now I'm worried that we might get refuse because of that.
Please advice and thank you in advance.

I sometimes hear people getting refused due to high level of disability especially when it will be a burden to health care system, but there is no law limiting people with disability to apply and again I am not sure if what you said should be taken as disability unless your child needs a special care or treatment, it shouldn't be an issue with your application, again a disability is not a limiting factor especially if you are not a principal applicant like your case
