Hi Guys,

Was wondering if CEC application fee ($550.00) and RPRF ($490.00) include HST or are tax free ?

If they do, is there a link that indicates this ?

Thanks!

Interesting question. I googled for a bit, but wasn't able to come up with an answer.
Why are you asking?

There is no PST/GST/HST, as you are paying for a service.

Hi,

It's called GST ( Goods and Service Tax ) and we're paying for a service :)
And as per >> http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/bsnss/tpcs/gst-tps/gnrl/menu-eng.html

The GST is a tax that applies to the supply of most property and services in Canada. The provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario and Prince Edward Island, referred to as the participating provinces, harmonized their provincial sales tax with the GST to create the HST. Generally, the HST applies to the same base of property and services as the GST.

An email to the cost recovery address might give more insight??
