Hi Members,

does anyone have (a Cic agent was sending via email but he probably get a wrong email because I can't get the email he sent to me) a list of Benefit that can affect negatively the spousal sponsorship I'm going to do for my son and my wife?

I know that Employment insurance does NOT.
And Ontario works DOES.

Any help?

Other than this is there a list of mistakes to avoid before a spousal sponsorship other than the popular post recently made by Leon?

Regards.

Joe.

usually the only things that cause someone to not be eligble to sponsor family members are the recent use of social welfare (NOT mat leave or EI) without proof of when it ended, criminal offenses again family members, other serious criminial offenses, or if the sponsor is incarcerated in jail at the time of application. I haven't seen much else be the reason.
