If you're hoping to be hired by a Canadian company for a job directly outside of Canada so that you can count this time towards your PR residency obligation - it's most likely not going to work. To count this time towards RO, CIC expect you to first be hired for a job within Canada and then at a later date transferred to a job outside of Canada. If you're hired directly for the job outside of Canada, CIC will most likely not let you count this time towards RO.
